A 21-year-old woman accused of routinely going on dates with men only to drug them and rob them of jewelry and other pricey belongings was arrested in Miami.
Yomna Fouad, accused of targeting men up the East Coast through New York, was charged with multiple counts of grand theft larceny. She was being held without bail, NBC reported.
One of her past targets spotted her outside the Rockwell nightclub around 3 a.m. He didn’t wish to be identified but shared his story with the hope that some of her other victims will come forward.
“When I saw her with tattoos on her hands I knew automatically that it was her. I was waiting outside to go inside the club and she was going out the club. I walked up to her and I was like, ‘Wait a minute, this can’t be what I’m seeing,’” he told the news station. “She looked at me and said ‘I don’t know you’ and she tried to run away.’”
To no avail, though — club security officers detained the woman until authorities arrived and arrested her.
Back in March, the same man said Fouad approached him outside a Miami Beach club. The pair returned to his place where he said the alleged serial date thief offered him a massage and several drinks.
“The next thing I knew I woke in the morning, she was gone,” he told the news station. “She has such an innocent face, I was not expecting that from her.”
The morning after their almost-tryst, the man said he was missing cash, clothing, a Rolex and other jewelry totaling more than $32,000.
Authorities believe she is behind a similar incident in Miami Beach in which a man was robbed of his $87,000 Audemars Piguet watch, NBC reported. They also suspect she was involved in similar crimes in New York, New Jersey and North Carolina.
